Together we raised $13,000

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.  The 2nd annual Born to Run 5K, benefiting the Bruce Eckrote Memorial Fund was a huge success.  We had nearly 500 participants, and together we raised $13,000…. all in Bruce’s memory.

Our 2011 benefactors include (2) Bruce Eckrote Memorial Scholarships, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and the ongoing recovery of local resident Steven Domalewski (Click for more info on Steven).

We would like to send our deepest appreciation to everyone involved with this event…. runners, walkers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, supporters…  this was a very special event, with people coming from all over the area (& country).  We’d especially like to thank the local Wayne community for all their support.   We look forward to seeing you all next year at Born to Run 2012.
